That sure was an incredible electrical storm last night here on the island.

Judaism has a prayer for everything:

Upon hearing thunder: Boruch attah ado-nai elo-heinu melech haolam, shekocho ugevurato malei olam. [Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King of the Universe, Whose strength
and might fills the world].

Upon seeing lightning: Boruch attah ado-nai elo-heinu melech haolam oseh maaseh bereishit.[Blessed are You, Lord our G-d, King
of the Universe, Who makes the Work of Creation].

On that note, WIJC regretfully informs you that tomorrow’s Shabbat gathering at the beach will be rescheduled. We are looking for folks interested in planning a Sukkah gathering for later in the month.
