The Whidbey Island Jewish Community (WIJC) is pleased to announce the offering of a free 6-week Introduction to Modern Hebrew class to the island community.
Introduction to Modern Hebrew will be taught by instructor Amanda Lynk. A graduate of Hampshire College, Ms. Lynk is a new Whidbey resident, a certificated elementary teacher, and a language enthusiast with experience teaching abroad.
Classes begin THIS Sunday, January 26th.
Open to all ages, this series of one-hour classes will be held Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Northwest Language Academy and Cultural Center in Langley, located at 5023 Langley Road.
Class dates are January 26th, February 2nd, February 9th, February 16th, February 23rd, and March 2nd (this final class time may be adjusted).
