Shabbat Shalom 2 Tishrei 5775

 L’ Shana Tova 5775!

The parshat for this week is Ha’azinu, translated as “listen”  or “give ear”, covering Deuteronomy 32:1-52.
Ha’azinu contains the Song of Moses and chronicles his last day  in which he  summoned heaven and earth to hear his final song, delivered to the Israelites  from the top of Mount Nebo. It is thought that the song was placed in Ark of the Covenant along with the Ten Commandments and Aaron’s staff.

Candle lighting on South Whidbey is at 6:39 with havdalah at 7:45.
